Reserve Hike

Join reserve naturalists on a serious day hike to cliffs carved by Black Rascal Creek. Swallows den on the cliffs this time of year creating an amazing swarm of life. The hike will be approximately 5-6 miles long, so be sure to bring a day pack with water bottles, lunch, camera, and binoculars, and to wear appropriate clothing (e.g., sunhat, good closed-toe walking shoes). Meet at 9:00am sharp at the entrance gate on Rancher’s Road, 50 yards north of the Student Services Building. The walk will last approximately 4 and a half hours. Limited to 20, but a reservation is required. Open to all.
